Buzz... Buzz... Buzz...

This card is for one of a cute couple's birthday. They are a pair of students and are not quite at the "I love You" stage but are using buzz, buzz, buzz instead. Aahh!! Young love.

I started out with a blank yellow sheet of cardstock folded in half. Then I trimmed a thin piece of black cardstock to just inside the width of my folded card. Using the Martha Stewart train edger punch I created a series of train stripes to attach to the card, stamped the bee topper image onto pearlescent cardstock and coloured with copics and embellished with black glitter, text is computer generated, and backed with the same light black cardstock as used for the punch train image.

Card Recipe:
  • Cardstock (yellow & black) - from stash. White pearlescent - purchased from Penniesworth at the NEC earlier this month.
  • Martha Stewart train edger punch - purchased from Oyster Papercrafts, also at the NEC.
  • Stamp is a pail topper stamp from Stampendous - called Bee Happy Topper
  • Used yellow Copic Ciao marker from set 36B - Colour no Y08 Acid Yellow
