Paper Stack with Dust On!!

Ok so today I decided to dig out some paper stack pads that have gone untouched since they left the craft shop shelves and incorporate them into more challenges.  I am on the last round up for week 140 over at Mojo Monday.  And for a change, instead of entering a card into a single challenge this card is also being entered in a challenge over at Digital Tuesdays - Cute People challenge.

Card Recipe
  • Backing paper with dots is a free download from (will have to check my source, sorry)
  • Crown backing paper is from DCWV Once Upon a Time stack
  • Image is a pre-coloured one (so, so handy) from Sassy Cheryl's
  • Text is computer generated
  • Shape is a new one (like Nestabilities) I purchased by "Nellie's Multi frames" range from my local craft shop in Craanford, Cottage Crafts.

Aoife's 21st Birthday

Looking forward to the celebrations next weekend Aoife!!!  This is a special card for a lovely neighbour of ours, the photo was taken about 18 - 19 years ago with our Samoyed called Jake.  I am entering the card in the Allsorts challenge this week - use a tag or ticket on your card.

The card has already been delivered and looked much better in person.  I will be back later to tell everyone where my supplies are from - have to make a b'day card for my Ma's b'day today!!!

Card Recipe (Told ya I'd be back)
  • Gingham backing paper is part of a download kit (possibly a Valentine's one) from Card Making Downloads
  • Red marbled-effect frame and ticket are freebies from Paulette's wonderful blog Create with TLC
  • Sentiments are computer generated

New Baby Boy

I was clearing scraps into my scrapbox yesterday when I discovered three lovely strips of  paper in blue and thought if they get to the bottom of my box they will never see the light of day again.  So I neatened them and taped them side by side on a piece of white pearlescent card-stock ready for embellishing.  I had an order for a new baby boy card so I took out my trusty Penny Black 'Basket of Joy' Stamp and got to work.  I am entering the card in the Sentimental Sundays challenge No 3 this week 'New Beginnings'.

Card Recipe
  • Dotty paper is from Pink Petticoat
  • Sentiments are computer generated
  • Image is coloured with Copic markers
